IDAS Features

IDAS™ is Icom’s digital land mobile radio system using the NXDN common air in-

terface and offers a complete system of handheld radios, mobile radios, repeaters,

network interface/trunking controller, IP-based virtual radio, various accessories and

a complete system solution.

IP Network

An IDAS conventional IP network can extend your communication coverage. It lets

you connect dispersed sites and allows you to communicate like a single site.

Digital Features

A signicant advantage of the IDAS radio is their ability to operate in mixed analog/

digital mode. There are a number of congurations available that enable the radio to

hear both analog and digital but respond only in one or the other.
